Liebe Black Parents, liebe Familien und Community,
endlich lesen wir wieder los! Wir treffen uns zur »Black Parents Reading« Session in der Hansabibliothek in der Altonaer Str. 15, 10557 Berlin. Die Lesungen werden gemeinsam mit der Hansa Bibliothek kuratiert.
Die Hansabibliothek ist Informations- und Kommunikationsort für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene im Hansaviertel und wurde als eine der ersten Freihandbibliotheken Berlins geplant. Die Bibliothek wurde im Rahmen der Internationalen Bauausstellung IBA ´57 nach Plänen des Berliner Architekten Werner Düttmann gebaut und gehört heute zum denkmalgeschützten Bauensemble des Hansaviertels. Große Fenster mit versenkbaren Scheiben machen einen fließenden Übergang von Innen/Bibliothek nach Außen/Garten möglich. Durch die enge Verknüpfung von Bibliotheksraum und Garten ist eine einzigartige Leseoase entstanden, die zu allen Jahreszeiten Besucherinnen und Besucher zum Lesen und Arbeiten einlädt.
Lasst uns gemeinsam lesen, eine gute Zeit verbringen und neue Kontakte knüpfen. Eingeladen sind alle Schwarzen Kinder von 1-99 Jahre sowie deren Familien, Tanten, Onkel, Cousinen und Cousins und natürlich alle Eltern- und Bezugspersonen.
